If anyone needs some good music to listen to, check out my blog: there's two entries, Discovering Awesome Tuneage and its followup. I'm reviewing different bands like Horrorpops, Anthony Green, and everything in between. I'm posting new reviews every Thursday. So check it out to probably find out more about your favorite band or you can suggest bands that I should review and learn more about them.

I did one for this week on something that hopefully and probably you will like.

What's up everyone? Again, thank you for the views and responses! This is my third week doing Discovering Awesome Tuneage. Y'all could have easily hate these reviews, hating my ratings. Well, you all didn't. And I applaud you. Before I get into the reviews, let me tell you about my adventure in FYE.
So I went to FYE last saturday, even though my mom followed me the whole time in the store. I just so happen to buy Flobots (one of the featuring bands this week). Read my review of the record and the band. Avenged Sevenfold is one of my favorite bands forever. Besides buying Fight With Tools, I bought Waking the Fallen. It's my favorite metal record for right now. So that was my adventure in FYE.
Here's the reviews for this week:
I Hate Kate- ****-Wicked Awesome
-has this old feel that I can't put my finger on, remind me of swing music, pretty sweet, very danceable
Valient Thorr- *****- Stellar
-one statement to say: this is how thrash rock should sound like.
Paper Rival-*****- Stellar
-welcome to your new favorite band, you can cry, dance to, even make out to, it's your soundtrack
Ludo-****- 4 1/2
-have to listen more than "Love Me Dead" to hear the versality of the band, Andrew has very Broadway-ish vocals, which it's awesome; harmonization is
awesome
Maylene and the Sons of Disaster-****-Wicked Awesome
-hometown heroes from Birmingham like me, reminds of their ex-labelmates Every Time I Die with a grittier sound
Set Your Goals- *****-Stellar
-on first listen feels like you step in a moshpit and you're in the middle, that's some punk for you
The Clash-*****-Stellar
-I just thought on why should I even review this band. because of this band, a lot of modern bands we love ,like Green Day, wouldn't rock as hard
R.E.M-*****-Stellar
-I have heard this band when I was younger, and now they still sound the same
Flobots- ****-4 1/2
-I bought their album 'Fight With Tools' last saturday, it's amazing, remind me of a lighter version of Rage Against the Machine, I like how they
combine classical jazz with hip-hop and rock.
Bonus: Cinematic Sunrise-*****- Stellar
I repeat;I LOVE CRAIG OWENS' VOICE! Nice side project. Now I just have to wait The Sound of Animals Fighting's next record to hear him with Anthony Green from Circa Survive.

Okay, have any of you thought about anything for the Back-to-School Soundtrack week? Let me know, add me or message me.
If you are in a band or know a local band in your town and they have a MySpace, Buzznet, Facebook, or an profile on AbsolutePunk.net, (I'm on all of them!), let me know.
Next week:Led Zepellin, Alkaline Trio, Ben Harper, and Scars on Broadway.
Until next time, J
