They played the exact same set at Lupo's tonight, so I'm glad I didnt look at the set beforehand. They really were amazing though best show I've seen in a while.

I was wondering where you heard this. I heard a Rise Against tour was in the works for the fall (starting in September). Is this the support that is planned for this tour?

Alkaline Trio are the "support". Rise Against is headlining. I saw a poster for it when I was at the Irving Plaza show. Rise Against/Alkaline Trio/Thrice at Hammerstein Ballroom, 10/14 & 10/15. Why they think they can fill two nights in a 5,000-capacity venue is anybodyss guess, but that's the deal.

yah, the two nights surprised me. the reason i was asking because i also heard a rumor about a cleveland date in late september or early october. for our sake lets hope both dates pop up on the tour.

I'm not sure that it was the best idea, but it makes a little bit of sense. I know a lot of people (myself included) that would want to see that line-up two nights in a row. Two nights in a row means (hopefully) two different set lists from three bands that people normally pay to see headline.

A Cleveland date would be amazing.
