Not Quite Bernadette (http://www.notquitebernadette.com) has 2 new songs (they finally recorded my favorite NQB song) on their purevolume (http://www.purevolume.com/notquitebernadette) page. Behind the board, none other than the man, the myth, the legend, Bob Hoag (http://www.flyingblanket.com).

Didn't Bob help write all/most the scary kids scaring kids lyrics? And help write the Format's The First Single?

Ah, thank you so much for posting this, and thanks to the first two for the compliments! It is very much appreciated, and we hope everyone else who checks them out likes them as well. They aren't mastered yet, but we couldn't wait to put them up. :)

I'm not sure if it would really be anyone's place but Bob or the bands' to confirm or deny this, but I will just say Bob has never had any contribution to our lyrics or songwriting (though I am not sure if that's what you were getting at). Not that he isn't a great songwriter (he is an amazing one), but we just have those bases covered on our own. Regardless of if he has or has not done anything for either of those bands, they are still incredible.
Thanks again for posting this and the comments, we hope everyone enjoys! And please send us an email and let us know what you think over at band@notquitebernadette.com.
Cheers,
Travis

I think any band that has recorded at Flying Blanket has an idea about what you're referring too. It's a pretty serious thing to comment on, so I'd leave that to Bob himself as well. If you search the net you'll see his comments on The Format in various articles.
No matter what though, both bands have pretty talented musicians and song writers. And Bob is too. NQB too.
