Some guy rang me up the other day at four in the morning and threatened to murder me but it turned out to be a wrong number. He was looking for someone named Kate.

Kate rhymes with Tate. Coincidence?

That sounds like on those text-to-speech guys. I remember a couple of years ago there was this AT&T website that let you enter in some text and it would translate it into words and a digital voice would read what you wrote.

Midtown, realizing their lack of musical talent, have resorted to telephone solicitation for publicity.

Incorrect. Realizing their originality, Midtown has used the telephone to spread their musical message throuhout the world.

You cant say they have no talent. Thats just blasphemy.

The new album sucks about as much as the last two.

I know AP is into them for some reason, and I guess I can see why, but in the grand scheme of punk/"underground"/indie music, FWYK is really weak. It's nice enough and all, but I mean come on. Good hair though.

It's also real cool on their sellsheet when it says that bit about them being big heroes of underground rock

If you'd rather hype a turd of an album than try to find some actual "underground" punk, or even some mainstream stuff that isn't phony posturing and awkward awkward lyrics, then go ahead.

No one over 13 should be into them.
