Below is an update from Hidden In Plain View:

Hidden In Plain View began recording their debut full-length in Santa Monica this past Monday. The CD is being produced by Jim Wirt (Something Corporate, Incubus, Hoobastank), and will contain 10 brand new songs, plus re-recordings of "Twenty Below" and "An American Classic". Check back for release date info, but we're guessing some time in September.

i'm excited to hear 'an american classic' is getting redone. great song

i got their ep a few days ago cos it was on sale, i was expecting it to be pretty shit but its damn good! totaly not what expected (having only heard 20 below before)

Should be a cool album

yeah, what douches... if it comes out in september "20 below" will be TWO+ YEARS OLD BY THAT TIME.

they're probably only including it because it's their only halfway decent song anymore... but yeah, hahah jesus that's so lame. get a new fucking song.

To be honest, I'm not that into this band, but Jim Wirt is a great dude to have on board for any album. He has only done amazing work for Something Corporate, so I'm excited to see what he can do for Hidden In Plain View. I'm anticipating this album now.

Fuck yeah. An American Classic needs a re-recording. The song is badass on it's own as it is.
