Bloc Party's new single

I've been listening to Bloc Party for a while, but I'm really getting excited after listening to Mercury (their new single). Its great, a bit of a different style than their usual, but its just really really good so you should all check em out.

As for "Mercury," I wasn't too high on it at first, but now I think it's great. Very different, but fantastic nonetheless.

Oh, and I'm sick of people hating on "A Weekend in the City." There are tracks on that album that make my jaw drop. I think it was one of the more underrated albums of 2007...

Good lord, I just listened to Mercury.
Holy crap thats different. Electronica to the max.

Its not bad though, just a huge shock.
I always say though, that I can always respect a band moving on to new territory, more than I can respect them churning out the same nonsense over and over.

And yes, I second that "A Weekend In The City" was very underated. An album with Helicopter or Banquet repeated 14 times would kill me.
