I was at the High and Driving (http://www.sorrowofstars.com/had/) show at the Troc last night, and was sitting at the merch stand with Anthony Green right after they finished playing. I bought a patch and Anthony told me he was up really late the night before, hand painting a couple hundred patches, just to have them for that night.

i still miss saosin. that new demo they made!! thats like my favorite song.
i wish they could have at least made a full album.
and i hear anthony may have another project?

if he does have a new project hopefully it will be harder , i miss them so much. yeah " i can tell..." is an incredible song.

I don't see him having any new projects for a while, at least until he gets an official release and a few tours with this band. And I think his voice fits this style of music more than it did Saosin.

i loved saosin, and anthony is a nice dude and all, but high and driving's demo is real bad.

Actually High and Driving is his side project. The other project(not many people know what it is) is going to be his main project. It involves some people from now defunct This Day Forward and are going to be coming out on EVR "supposedly".

i was at the show as well... one of the few people who actually knew the words.
if anyone who knew the had songs didn't know the last song he played... it wasn't a new song, but actually the first track from a 4-song demo he put out with a really old band of his called Audience Of One. ao1's full length cd (ant did guitar/vocals on it when he was like 16) can be purchased at smartpunk and interpunk.

High and Driving is just awful. Resurrecting a side project he left a while ago was probably a bad idea, because judging by this band's music, it was a good decision to leave.

i heard anthony's new band besides High and driving tonight, it really pissed me off. It's really repetitive and doesnt really show off Anthony's voice.

anthony does have another project going on right now besides high and driving. the band doesn't even have a name yet, but i got a chance to hear two songs that he has recorded with them tonight from the girl that plays keyboards in his new project (she is the merch girl for from first to last)...it is very much like high and driving, but a little less melodic.

when u read what the other guys in Saosin are looking for in a singer i think the words "doesnt use drugs" stood out in my head.. seems like that could have been why he left. and high and driving is nothing special, its going to be hard to capture what Saosin had over again..

yeah thats another good point... that was actually a reason why anthony was kicked out/ asked to leave Zoloft.

Actually, i was at the show the other night, not only did he say it was only a side project, he also said he left saosin not because ___________(insert excuse here) but because of personal differences and the music wasnt really for him.
And the new "main band" is going to be made up of guys from TDF like some have said and they will release a record on EVR
btw.. the girl from zolof did an awesome job, especially with back up vocals

No it's a different girl than Rachel. The girl that is going to be in the "main project" is the girl who runs merch for From First to Last.

No actually a lot of majors wanted them. But the band wanted the label they are on Death Do Us Part to be picked up too. They can do everything a major can do(record,master,tour, make merch) for them except distro and I have a feeling after a while they would eventually get that. The reason why anthony left the band that you quoted isn't correct.
