Here's the deal: I just found out about this band right this second. I wish I had known about them before I posted my recommendations so I could've added them, but since I only posted two recommendations here is another one to make up for the lack of quanity: Lydia (http://www.lydiamusic.com). This is some of the best new music I've heard in awhile. Go to their website and read some of their lyrics. Go to their pureVOLUME page (http://www.purevolume.com/lydia) and listen. The singer's voice resembles Bright Eyes.

oh this is so pretty, especially the end of the second song. love it. the girl vocals really help it stand out too.

interesting stuff - Lydia... I was thinking it was more like Straylight Run and the vocals almost reminded me of an acoustic song that From Autumn to Ashes did but I would second guess that in heartbeat. I'm still listening to "Such a Beautiful Dreamer" - now I'm thinking it's more like old old Taking Back Sunday (forget me, it's so simple...). It's something like when they used to bring Michelle Nolan in on some of the songs. They are very good though - I'm going to keep my eye on them. Now if only I had a job that could help bands get discovered...

This is dustin from lydia Thanks Jared for throwing the name of lydia out and bringin in the purevolume downloads. We never had any promotional opportunities or had our name on anything but homemade flyers so this makes us feel pretty good. If anyone is interested in our stuff that live close enough to Mesa, Arizona we have a show on May 28 at the Womens Club with Before Braille and SkSk both really awesome bands from the same area. If you have any questions you can go to the lydia website for loren or steves email adresses By the way how did you find out about lydia? just wonderin Thanks Again
