Of course The Magic get the first pick...they should take Okafor. I hate The Magic though...Any team that Shaq played for is tainted. I hate Mcgrady too...cocky bastard. Sure he scores more points than any other player...but while the other guys are out competing for a championship he sits at home watching it on TV
open mind

Tough for the Magic losing McGrady, though.....although I always thought he was over-rated, and Francis, Mobley, and Cato could help the team. It'll be tough to beat the McGrady/Yao tandem, though, especially with Shaq/Kobe breaking up.

im upset that they will lose Tmac, but eh yeah...he was a bastard.
Id rather see him to indiana for Artest and Al harrington.
Im interested to see where Shaq will end up.

Im not a fan of their draft pick.... yet. Their best pick if you ask me was jamir Nelson and he wasnt taken till 20th! they ended up getting him for a first round draft pick. not bad. i dont think you should ever take a high schooler over a college kid. especially when its someone like okafor. he is soo good. they need a center. unless they are playing a small lineup.

Howard is going to end up being way better than Okafor in a few years. Im liking Orlandos pick now. They're still gonna suck next season but look for them to be strong in a few more seasons.

I would take Howard over Okafor in a heartbeat. Yes Orlando needs a center - Howard is 6'11 and doctors say he'll likely grow 3 more inches. Okafor is a generous 6'10, and many people say he's really only 6'9 which is way too small to be a center in the NBA. Okafor is a great shot-blocker but that's against guys his size or smaller. How will he do against guys much bigger than him? His back is screwed up too - who knows if he won't be injured for his career much like fellow player Grant Hill. Howard is a much bigger offensive threat who is disciplined and has the heart for the game.

If Howards comparisons to garnett even minutely become true...ill be happy.

Tell that to Ben Wallace (measures in at 6'9" himself)

orlando has a chance to be decent this year, expecially if hill contributes anything at all...francis, mobley, hill, gooden, howard....sounds like a decent starting lineup to me

i never liked T-mac. theres a reason he scores more than anyone else and thats because if you take every shot for your team your bound to score a lot. i can watch a magic game on tv and it always seems like 50% of the magics shots are taken by T-mac, come on man and give up the rock!

haha, i feel bad for him in Houston. He wont touch the ball but about 10-15 times a game if that. Van gundy doesnt let one player rule his team. hasnt let anyone score over 20 point through a whole season.

thats good for TMac, it will discipline him. Hopefully he will be more mature. if not, too bad Houston.
