Probably one of my most anticipated releases is the new Person L that's coming out on August 5th. This has potential to be awesome, it really does. All the songs I have heard are pretty incredible so far. The funny thing is, I really did not like The Starting Line all that much. I like the classic rock/ groovey kinda sound that Kenny's got going with Person L and I think it could end up being really awesome.

I will be at that show on the 22nd. On my birthday.

On the 19th I'm seeing Chris Conley and Matt Pryor. August is an amazing month for shows.

Honestly, I USED to love Chain Reaction. I practically grew up at the place. It's great when you're younger but now that I'm older, it's not as cool. It's an all-ages venue in the strictest sense of the word. There's no bar, which is a huge bummer, but overall it's a pretty nice venue. Their sound has gotten a lot better because they've upgraded a lot of stuff. It's a real small venue which is always nice, around 250 max capacity (though they always oversell the place on bigger shows). I've seen some of the best shows ever there (Saves The Day & Thursday in 2001, Taking Back Sunday in 2002, Recover multiple times). Overall, I'd say it's great if you're not worried about no ins-and outs (shitty) and no bar (shittier). They used to have a milk crate stage back in the day before they upgraded.

I'm pretty interested to hear it, not really "stoked" because I don't want to hype something up too much...

I hope that Person L enjoys making music. Towards the end of TSL you could tell that none of the band members wanted to make music together anymore. That being said I'm looking forward to hearing the new stuff from Kenny.
