I caught this show last night in Atlanta, I only went for Have Heart. There were a ton of kids (hardcore assholes) packed into a really small place so it was a lot of fun and pretty rough. There were 2 opening bands that I didn't really care for and then Foundation played. I never liked them but since they are from Atlanta people were going ape shit for them. Then Verse came on and played a pretty good set, I could never really got into them before but they were decent live.

Have Heart came on and the place exploded, everyone that was on the floor at some point was either on stage jumping off or face down on the floor passed out. It was hot as hell in this small place but the energy was at a maximum. The band was super excited for the turn out and saying it was the best hardcore show they have ever played (Im sure they say that for a lot of shows, but still, it was pretty crazy). The only downfall of the night was the fact that the show didn't start till around 9 and it had to be over at 12, so this cut Have Hearts set a little short and they almost didn't play their last song since it was going to put them over on time, but they did anyway. But overall Have Heart was a really fun band to see and I recomend checking them out when they come by your city. I wouldnt say they are the most original hardcore band (and I can't get into their new album at all) but they definitely have a lot of passion for what they are doing and it shows live.

Here is the set from what I remember (not completely in order):

Watch Me Rise
Bostons
Watch Me Sink
The Unbreakable
Song Of Shame
Something More Than Ink
The Machinist
Armed With A Mind

There may have been one more, but I can't remember what it was, unfortunately they didn't really play anything off the What Counts EP, I would have loved to see Lionheart or What Counts live.

Entirely too few new songs. The new cd is absolutely incredible, I'd definitely want to see more material from that.

On a side note, I saw Foundation in May when they opened for Paint It Black down here, they were a solid band for sure.

Yowza, that sound like fun. I'm bummed this tour isn't coming to Chicago.

I have to disagree, I just can't get into the new album it is way too short (especially since there was that rumor of a 41 track album or whatever) and it just sounds the same throughout the entire thing. Im glad they played Bostons but I would rather that they keep playing their old stuff for now (while they still can).

Yeah I have seen Foundation a bunch of times and they are ok, I see why they are big down here they put on a decent show but it sounds like "just another hardcore band" to me.

Well the dude mentioned that they were going on tour with Blacklisted during October so maybe they will hit Chicago then.
