I downloaded the free sampler from Tooth and Nail and it came with this song by Anberlin, The Haunting. And I love it.

Has anyone else heard it?

(As a matter of fact, the sampler came with atleast a dozen solid songs. This Anberlin one was definatley the best though, alongside the new Norma Jean.)

It's off their b-sides record. Nothing new.

I had no idea, here I was under the impression it was going to be off their new cd. As you can see I know this band in and out..

Its damn good for a bside, hows the rest of the cd?

Losts Songs is an amazing album. I love their covers of 'like a rolling stone' and 'the promise'. The Haunting is awesome and i wish they would have put it on Cities.

Lost* Songs geez.

They watered down one of the most important songs of all time to the point that it became a generic mess. Among the worst covers I have ever heard and it cements my dislike for this mediocre band.

Your cynicism and general criticism of any band or singer who formed after 1985 is both entertaining and appreciated.

I disagree with you strongly about Anberlin. The fact that you find them mediocre is interesting.

I enjoy quite a few acts formed after 1985.

As for Anberlin, I hear no redeeming qualities in the dull, predictable, mildly catchy pop-rock they've put forth. Butchering a classic doesn't help either.
