Seems like a strange cover song to do from 3 Doors Down perspective...but i think all their songs have a theme to them (ahem---military) ....what do you think?

it really annoys me that 3 doors down can write some genuinely great straightforward rock songs but does really lame shit like this.

All the bands I love break up. 3 Doors Down continues to make music. I see this as a terrible injustice.

Never liked Bon Jovi or 3 Doors Down, they both are terrible in my opinion.

I will agree with this. Good, cheesy rock song that doesn't need to be covered in a serious way.

And the original was on the Young Guns soundtrack. I just don't remember if it was Young Guns one or two.

No, actually that was "Blaze of Glory" by Jon Bon Jovi solo. This was off 1986's Slippery When Wet, while Young Guns is from 1988.
I know too much useless information.

Shiiiiiit, you're right. Wasn't the video for "Dead or Alive" sort of western-ish? I know for a fact the video for "Blaze of Glory" had clips from the Young Guns movie in it. I'm going completely off of my memory here. I don't know, I grew up with Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Motley Crue, and Rush so I don't really mind some of that music. I still listen to and love Van Halen and Rush though.

Yeah, both are Western themed videos. It's all good man - I grew up on the same music. My mom and dad listened to all that shit haha
