My recommendation is easy. Take a summer night drive, play "Shadowlands" by Ryan Adams (on Love Is Hell), roll the windows down, and appreciate how beautiful the song is. For more recommendations, check out (http://forum.absolutepunk.net/showthread.php?t=41195) what my homie Buddy from Tragic Clothing (http://www.tragicclothing.com) is rocking these days.

hahaha. Anyone rememebr that really hideous wrestler for WCW named Brian Adams? I picture him in my head everytime i hear "ryan adams", it's not a good thing bc it forces me to pre-judge him as an ugly/goofy bastard.

also known as "Crush" in his pre WCW days, remember his fued with doink the clown? it all started when he hit crush with his cast.

then there was dink the clown, that was a mess.

the only good thing to come of doink was that one time there were like 15 doinks in the ring, that was pretty surreal.

i dare anyone to try to stump me on early - mid 90's WWF trivia.

answer me these 3 questions about the berserker and then i'll consider you a friend...

1)who was his manager
2)what was his finishing move
3)what did he carry to the ring

extra credit: what was his trademark phrase that he would repeat over and over?

I know he had the viking horns and a sword (if i rememebr correctly). he said "huss huss" and his manager was Mr. Fuji. He was known as Nord the Barbarian previous to Berzerker (i think, dont hold me to that one though). His finisher was just to pick up his opponent, toss him out of the ring and wait till he was counted out.

hello friend (i love your design work by the way).

Ryan Adams makes some good music, I like his slower stuff better ( Love is Hell, Whiskeytown stuff ). RocknRoll was a let down for me.

I won tickets to a Ryan Adams show once when he first made it on the radio. I never listened to the radio so I had no idea who he was, and they had one of those "eighth caller" games. I called in and won, thinking they had said "win tickets to a Bryan Adams concert". Me and the guy I went with kept wondering why this radio station was giving away tickets to a Bryan Adams show when he hadn't been heard from since "Robin Hood". We kept joking about how it'd be funny if it was someone we'd never heard and as we were walking up to the venue there was a tour bus outside with a banner on the side of it. The wind was blowing the end of the banner to where it was covering up where the "B" would be in Brian. We started laughing sarcastically saying "Wow, it's Ryan Adams, not Bryan Adams". Then the wind let up and we realized that we were actually not going to see Bryan Adams. It was pretty funny times. We left half-way through the set. I've tried to not hear him since.

ryan adams is fucking amazing. one of the greatest songwriters in a while. he needs to start doing heroin again. even though rock n roll was a definite let down, love is hell redeemed him. and everyone knows to be young from old school and everyone loves that song.
