Last night at The Used/Taking Back Sunday/ Blink182 show in Toronto, Taking Back Sunday played a new song that definately had the album title in it, with the lyrics 'this is where you want to be.' Also The Used were selling 'Burt is My Homeboy' shirts that had Burt's face in Jesus' regular spot.

If you can't appreciate TBS live thats sad because they make it a fucking experience for everyone because of the crowd participation level. No band I've ever seen gets a crowd so excited or so pumped and thats a long list...

The t-shirts (for all bands) were $35. Add on to a minimum of $42 for a ticket...bleh. Luckily, I missed Taking Back Sunday, but had to sit through The Used.

Some kid was holding a sign that said "GELLIN." Tom shouted "GELLIN! Yeah! What the hell is that? That is pointless, but you put it on a sign. And that's why I respect you." Then Mark said "That's what the doctor said when your mom was born...what was the point of that?"

That TBS song is called Set Phasers to Stun. I saw them last week in Portland and they were great live, but they would benefit so greatly from a new mixing guy. They play the songs perfectly and with a ton of energy, but for the first several songs the levels were so off.

So many bands I've seen have had greater crowd participation...for example...every band (except Let It Burn) on the Avail, The Unseen, The Bouncing Souls tour had greater participation (awesome show by the way), Thursday gets the crowd far more into it...I mean seriously, most bands have at least as much crowd particpation, except without sounding like shit.

he sucked in 2000, he sucks now, a singer is actually supposed to sing live. I live on Long Island and everybody hears loves TBS, but everybody here also accepts the fact adam sucks live. I have yet to hear adam ever sing in key live (when he actually decides to sing).

I must say I have seen Taking Back Sunday three times now, what a different experience seeing them at a big venue. They were great, trust me. Adam got the "fans" into it, he got people out of their seat, and they sounded better than The Used to be honest with you. The vocals by bUrt, i kid i kid, Bert were hard to hear. TBS was good, the used were fairly good, and blink was good. This was a highly entertaining show, despite the fact that I was asked by some blink me girls to sit down during TBS' set. (This was for the Friday show).

This was a highly entertaining show, despite the fact that I was asked by some blink me girls to sit down during TBS' set. (This was for the Friday show).
That reminds me...there were these annoying girls in matching pink tanktops with "Mrs. Hoppus" and "Mrs. Delonge" on it. (This was the Sat show though.) Man, I hope they died.

yes...its funny though cause everyone is talking about how bad adam is live, but no one bothers to say anything about tom live. I know, I know. We all know tom can't sing live and i like the fact that we all accept that fact and pay big bucks to see him anyway. and im being completely honest. its like, if tbs comes to your town on their own, you probably wont pay more than 15 or 20 bucks and then you will go home complaining about how bad he was live. But paying 50 bucks to see tom live, and you go home "man i fucking love blink!!!!" its awesome.. and no i am not being sarcastic, i seriously love it

I was at the show on Sat too...it was f'n awesome.
I never liked TBS much so it's all good. They weren't THAT bad though. Barely anyone knew the lyrics to their songs. That was interesting.

Personally i think the concert was great..i don't know its because it was the first time i saw tbs live..but i don't know they blew me away. i was right behind the barricade of the pit the whole time and fucking enjoyed it..everyone was dancing and there was a awesome circle pit..they sounded great too...to me it was just like the cd..but hey maybe i'm crazy.....o fuck seeing a decade under the influence live killed me..it was great!

Yeah i couldn't disagree with you guys anymore...i went to the friday and Saturday show and i thought Adam was incredible and so was the rest of the band. Hearing Decade Under the Influence live was incredible they played it to the tee on Saturday. I really don't know what you guys want from Adam do you people excpect to hear the cd when you go to a show...because thats not gonna happen and i wouldn't want it to...or i would just sit at home pop Tell All Your Friends in the cd player and sit on my couch.

no, i don't expect to hear the cd when i see them live but I do expect to see him SING live. ive seen them 8 times...having Adam ACTUALLY SING at a live performance is a very very very rare event. Cherish it forever. If I see him swing a mic (when he should be singing) one more time, I'm going to blow his head off.

i like how you just pick out adam when tom (a great guy and everything) is a far worse singer than adam is, and fuck if you dont like him singing live then dont go to the shows,seeing as how you've seen them 8 times and u whine and bitch about it WHY would you go see them live time after time? and if you only saw them 8 times cus they were the opener, why not come late? I think TBS kicks ass live cus they get the crowd into it (not saying no one else does) and that personally his voice suits the sound, leave adam alone fuck hes just doing what he loves he doesnt come to your job and tell you you suck at it
