haha thanks...we're redoing that one for the record we're recording in July...but anyways new gatsbys=AMAZING listened to the songs about 5000 times now

Ohhh yes, Gatsby's have done it again. Sweet jesus this is good. Interesting direction they went in with Badlands though. If you go to this website, http://johnnycabstudio.com/, you can listen to the demo version with Bobby singing, and it's almost a totally different song. The demo sounds exactly like the Ribbons and Sugar stuff, while the new version seems to be trying a whole new direction. I don't know which I like better.

pretty good song, different from the last 2 gad songs i heard, castaway and the fall of george mallory, but they are all good songs, i should probably buy a one of there cds or something

joe show, those 2 songs are from their 2002 release "Why we Fight"... 2003's "Ribbons and Sugar" is a far more mature album that really explores all types of time signatures and stuff, its also amazing lyrically, you should really check it out.

is it just me, or is the recording quality of these songs not that great? it sounds like they aren't mastered yet. any input?

I think i must be the only person on this planet who cannot get into these guys...and i'm making the effort but it's not just not happening...what am i missing here?
