What are your expectations of the new Valencia album that is out next month? This is probably one of my most anticipated albums of the year.

The "rawness" I've heard on the new songs seems kind of forced, like the band said "Hey, a lot of bands do the really polished sound, so just to set us apart we should make the production just raw enough to make people notice, but not too raw because we're still a pop band." Not that there's much wrong with that, but the Holiday demo sounds so much more natural so much more "Valencia" than the final version did.

I have to agree w. that 100%, and to be honest, I am kinda worried that the entire album is going to end up sounding like that. I love Valencia, and have seen them live more times that I can count over the past 4 years or so, but I just hope that I am not let down... I have read all of these great reviews which gives me hope, but there is still that slight worry that I'll be let down.

i want to hear this album SOO fuckin bad. i have preordered the album in a sense, i bought tickets to their CD release show, and everyone coming through the door gets a copy of the album. anyone want to send me the songs?

The Podcasts have really got me excited for this release.
I was a fan of This Could Be A Possibility but nothing really made me want to keep coming back for multiple listens, besides Tenth Street.
We All Need A Reason To Believe sounds amazing from what I've heard of it so far (admittedly it isn't much). From what i can tell it's a step above anything else that I've heard this band perform.

Where Did You Go? sounds absolutely amazing from the 30 second clip they have on their official website. I'm jealous of everybody who's heard it. Can't wait to his release drops on the twenty sixth.

From what I can gather the album hasn't yet leaked. I could be totally wrong but that's what I've been told, and I'm yet to see a leak...

I've also Pre-ordered the album, Even if this release does leak I'm steering well clear of it. Thankyou for the offer though if in fact it has managed to leak.

Loved to see some lines of promise of redemption loved that album
