Never saw Almost Famous, and I have no interest in seeing Galaxy Quest. Looks bad.

i saw an advanced screening of this yesterday. I thought it was pretty good. Nothing fantastic that you tell all your friends to see, but it was a good movie, and pretty funny as well.
Compared to the latest comedies that have come out, it's better than all of them combined ( i realize that's not saying much, but still ).
um...i'd give it a 7.5 / 10.

a good family friend of my dad's owns the bus they use in the movie, and he and his son make a cameo in it. as for the movie itself I guess it doesn't look that bad

I hate to say it, but it was BAD

only funny parts were Rainn Wilson's faces when playing the drums ... too much stupid physical comedy, bad acting from Teddy Geiger, a lot of forced romantic situations

it felt like a bad made for the disney channel movie, if they wanted a combo of sweet/safely funny, they should have looked more to school of rock

even with low expectations, this was horrid

I saw this and it wasn't nearly as bad as I had expected. But as I watched it, all I saw was Dwight, Jules, Jonah Hill and that kid reminded me of Conor Oberst a little, with the way he looked.
