19th birthday

so today's my birthday. and there's really no point to this one- no longer 18, not quite 20 and two years away from 21

today kind of sucked, I have a semi-strept throat, couldn't go to work, and just hung out in my non-ac house all day, and all of my home friends are ignoring me (which i thought was game for a surprise party, but apparently they don't like me that much)

the highlight of my day was getting a mug from my mother which is huge and because it is about the size of two regular cups means i don't have to physically get up and get another cup of coffee in the morning

On my birthday I rode my bike downtown to get food for my parents and I, then almost got hit by a car. Then my dad yelled at me all night.

Sounds like my last birthday... 18 and the lamest one ever. i didn't do anything. most of my friends had just left for school and i hadn't made any new good friends here yet, and none of my brothers and sister were home that night. my mom made a special dinner for me and then we had to wait for my one sister to get home from soccer practice, and no one else came home. oh, and i had 2 hours of math class. i think the highlight of the entire day was the boy i'd just started talking to texting me all day and just being really sweet, the rest of it just sucked.

I know 19's not special, but i can't wait for it anyway. i hate being 18, it sound so young.

Turning 19 is pretty cool if you live on the border of Canada. Turning 20 sucked, I was kind of depressed about not being a teenager anymore. Now I look back and realize I'm going to be 23. That shit is weak.

My 18th birthday was on the same day as my Prom and I didn't go. I went to a casino in NY instead. My 21st birthday was during my spring semester finals week. I had 3 finals that day and I was sick.
