Anyone know what is going on with Acceptance (http://www.acceptancemusic.com) lately?

dude, I wish - last time I talked to the band was like a year ago, and they said they hoped to have the album out in Feb 2004, so much for that - i don't even know if they've stepped in the studio, or if they're playing shows, or what.
Acceptance is to suck as Mao is to Maoism.
i heard they were doing a full us tour in august.

I've heard from close sources that the band will be heading out with Gatsbys American Dream in the fall as well as a big headliner.
BrandNizzle, could you BE more vauge?????
obviously have no idea what you're talking about, just trying to sound like you do... cause you're THAT scene. :x4xshot:

New Acceptance is going to be mind blowing. Me and my friend yesterday were actually discussing this same situation wondering when we are going to hear from them. I'm guessing this cd will surprise us all.

I wish my friends were that cool...
I mean, urm, more musically aware.

they entered the studio yesterday to start the actual recording process. no bullshit, i assure you. supposedly they migh be doing some local shows to try out the new stuff, i heard also.
if you try and say i'm trying to be "scene" and act like i know shit, you're a moron. i know this for a fact.
hope that helped.

Acceptance is touring with Gatsby's American Dream in August for a full US tour.
They are heading into the studio with a good 20 songs under their belt to choose which ones will go on the final Columbia release. They did pre production at the singer, jason's, house. But the final recording will be done somewhere in Seattle.
Last Friday they played their first show in 6 months debuting some of the new songs. It was packed and everyone was loving the new songs.

look you little fuck, im just going by what i saw on a message board a little while ago...i didnt post my comment and say 'by the way im right and everyone else is wrong and i know exactly what im talking about'....so before you go off telling me how VAGUE i am and how scene i am, get off your high horse thinking you can criticize other people for information that may or may not be true because youre sooooo not 'scene'. cause you're THAT indie.
first things first - simplywilnotdie, i wasn't talking to you, you BACKED UP your shit.
second - brandnizzle, look up, your post WAS VAUGE... so don't tell me it wasn't. but what i'm about to say isn't completely talking to you as much as just a general large population of this board.
third - I'm not scene, i'm not indie, i'm not punk... i like the music... it's bad enough people are trying to label every fucking type of (punk/emo/etc) music out there, but worse when they have to label the people that listen to the labelled music. fucking stupid, and it pisses me off everyone criticises other types of music and the people who listen to IT , when really the exact same thing goes on in immature punk message boards like this where no one can get along except when they are "fighting the good fight" in this little bubble where everyone is (within a certain range) the same in music, yet consider themselves so fucking non-conformist
(perfect example: when creed broke up this place suddenly rallied together to laugh and joke about it, when in all reality, no one fucking gave a damn before and still doesn't now, and don't give the lame "we won't have to hear them on the radio anymore" cop-out, because we all know anyone who like indie punk doesn't listen to the radio that often anyways, but burned cds they got off MIRC),
yet consider themselves so fucking non-conformist, even though they'll listen to what ever tate tells them to. (FOR THE MOST PART) And i definately don't say that as a bad thing, as Tate and this site introduce people to great fucking music, but basically this site is just like the UN or something, a bunch of little reject punk delegates who each represent the small, antisocial fraction of their high schools who all convene here to talk about the same basic opinions, yet argue about the tiniest of issues until the cows come home.
Now, please, pick apart every little thing i said up there that pisses you off and overanalyze it out of context and OF COURSE do what they always do here and only address the points that DON'T pertain to you (because when people make general statements, they obviously can't make every point in the statement apply to EVERYONE, hence the GENERAL) and we'll be on our merry way.
Or better yet, (and most likely) ignore this post because it doesn't agree with your opinions, because here anything that is of opposite opinion (unless it is a BLATANTLY stupid opinion) is ignored because no one can deal with talking about nonetheless, accepting, other people's viewpoints.
Bottom Line: I'm american, but lived in mexico through highschool, now came back to the states and see a (good population of) the "punk" kids and see that they are pussies in real life yet all seem to come to places like this to be hard asses. The problem with these people is they aren't hard asses, have NO social skills, and basically use this place, and punk shows, as places to vent. That's not healthy, and all it does is reaffirm too many people that their ways of acting in the real world are fine, and they have EVERYTHING figured out, but in reality they don't know shit, and aren't gonna get anywhere with this attitude, and, above all,
GIVE PUNK A BAD NAME.
We need more punks like tate and those like him, people who are true to their roots, knowledgeable about punk and the politics that go with it, can EXIST IN THE REAL WORLD, and (something most people here just DON'T GET) spread all types of good music to as many people as possible, INSTEAD OF ARGUING OVER WHICH TYPE OF SUB GENRE AND BANDS WITHIN SUB GENERES, ARE AMAZING, SUCK OR DESERVE TO DIE.
Face it, without the Good Charlottes and Simple Plans, alot of people wouldn't have stumbled upon the vast amount of stuff that's out there, and eventually moved on in their tastes, I know that's how it happened for me, and countless other people.
Damn was that a fucking essay and very few people here (especially the ones i am talking about) care enough about other people's views to actually read threw this, so it was probably for nothing, but whatever.
BrandNizzle, this was not all directed at you, infact of the people here you actually responded to me, which means you're not one of a part the people here i'm talking about, you just fucking lit a match that found a can of gas in me.
