I'm in an acoustic band and am looking for something to amplify the vocals. Not much power is needed at all.
Any suggestions as to what kind of amp/pa/live vocal mic i should get?
any help is appreciated.

To be totally honest it doesn't matter at all what type of pa you use I mean they are all pretty much the same just some are louder than others and if you are doing an accoustic band and don't want much power you can get something very affordable just go to guitar center and check out the pa's you will def find something there that will fit your needs

i use an audix om7. the om2's are pretty popular and sound pretty close to the higher end models. if you've got the money though, get the audix condensor mic. best live mic i've ever used. usually if you're playing at a place that needs vocal power, it will be provided for you. if you show up with your own mic, you'll have less of a chance of catching laryngitis or anything else the other performers will be spitting out that night
