Butch Walker (http://www.butchwalker.com)'s Letters has been pushed back, but the official release date, straight from the label is: Aug 24, 2004. You can view the first single/video for "Mixtape" right here (http://boss.streamos.com/wmedia/ugo/ugo/music/musicvideos/butch_walker_01.wvx).

if u aren't familiar with butch, don't judge him based on a line. this man is extremely talented and creative, and incredebly underrated.

You judge music based on one line? Man, the beatles and nirvana never had a chance did they?

yes i judge by one line, because i can hear that one line without actually listening to the song.....

i judge by the music that is available to me, and this is high school poetry. the musicianship is not bad but hardly impressive. catchy sure, but how is this worth remembering? the best pop ever? you name drop the beatles but have you bothered to listen to them? they smoke this, and i'm not even a huge beatles fan. you can find a thousand guys who sound exactly like this playing at coffee shops in every town in the country. seriously jason, raise your standards at some point.

nirvana is overrated.

I don't think he was directly comparing them... Butch Walker IS indeed very talented musically though... I like what he did with the new Midtown CD more than veteran Trombino, but that's just my opinion.
