Hey, so I was wondering if you guys could recommend some new music for me. I work 9 hours a day in a boring office job and I'm allowed to listen to my CD player while I work, but I'm so tired of all my CDs and I need something new to listen to. I'll listen to pretty much anything, but lately I've been listening to CDs like Brand New (the old one), Thursday, Armor for Sleep, The Beautiful Mistake, Matchbook Romance, and of course, I always have Simple Plan (I love them...shut up). If you can think of any good bands based on what I already listen to that I might like, or if you just have some bands that you think are amazing beyond belief, please, please, PLEASE tell me because I have nothing to listen to and it's my birthday today so I wanted to go buy some birthday CDs for myself. Oh- if you want to know every band I like (because I'm so sure you do), read my profile. Thanks! :wink3:

If you like Armor For Sleep you'll probably like Park. I saw them both together in September and it was super awesome. Their latest CD "It won't snow where you are going" is probably the best. You should give it a listen.

I think you should listen to Dopamine because...
a) they're somewhat underground - they need more fans
b) they've got a awesome brand new EP out now (through Golf Records)
c) they're in the same genre as the bands you like
d) they're catchy
e) they rock...
f) all of the above

I'm basing these on your taste, rather than my taste. Our tastes are different, but that's no biggie.
You like poppy punk, and that's cool. Here's some extremely awesome CD's by such artists.
Motion City Soundtrack - I Am The Movie
Brand New - Deja Entendu
And that's about all I know.
Now, listen to these albums because they are incredible.
The Mars Volta - De-Loused in the Comatorium
Coheed and Cambria - Second Stage Turbine Blade
Coheed and Cambria - In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3
Cursive - The Ugly Organ
Bright Eyes - Lifted (or) The Story In the Soil: Keep Your Ear to the Ground
Denali - self-titled
Pedro the Lion - Achilles Heel
Korvans

I'm sure you've heard of the band 800 Octane... AWESOME band off New School Records. Anyway, their new album "Rise Again" just came out, and its AWESOME. I HIGHLY suggest everyone go out and buy it, it sounds really good.
