a boy he sleeps his day away
he sleeps to be somewhere else
with someone else, fictional and original
but you'll be there and you'll be real
and you'll wake him over and over
sweating into his notebook all he can write
"tell me how this is supposed to end...
my once friend, now fictional lover...
why should i even bother?"
