this album has three good songs. it was EXTREMELY important in shaping hip hop, but other than that i really don't think it's a good album.

i know enough about hip hop and its history to have an educated opinion, asshole.

also, those three songs are incredible. i need to make that clear before more people get angry.

i don't know man. i've had the album for ten years and have never had the urge to listen to anything other than "straight outta compton," "fuck the police," or "express yourself." i'll put it on later and give it another chance.

I put it on my list for sheer influence. There are plenty of better 80s hip hop albums though.
