webdesign is NOT intern work. when will these labels learn. its fucking unfair to make someone slave over something and not get paid.

i did it for 8 months, yes i loved going, but it was insanely unfair that i wasn't paid.

interning without pay is the biggest scam corporations have ever dreamed up. fresh college minds, working for free! build your resume! does the dtr internship pay (and i mean over $10 an hour)? otherwise i wouldn't even advertise that shit. however, dtr will get what they pay for - interns only work for free if they can't find a paying internship (or if they do not have to earn their keep).

Or they intern because they love what they do and want any way possible to get a foot in the door? At least that's why I intern. I'm just surprised that no one at DTR has a friend or a friend of a friend who took this position. I havent seen a label openly call for interns in a long time.
