Just listening to Indie 103.1 out here in So. Cal and they are reporting a Blink 182/Jimmy Eat World/Modest Mouse/Muse tour is in the works for this fall. Haven't heard or seen anything else about this so i figured I'd pass it along to you.

such a fucking sweet tour. Anywhere you go there are lame fans, Ive gotten over that whole aspect of shows, I personally think its sweet seeing blink and modest mouse and muse in one show because i love those bands. Im glad to see blink touring with bands that have a different sound then them.

lame fans arent really the issue for me. i'm worried that, given their history, modest mouse will do this tour then go back into hiding for another two years without doing a proper headlining tour. don't get me wrong, i'm no elitist or anything when it comes to them, i love how big they've gotten, the deserve it, and i think it's great how they are helping change the face of modern rock right now. but they just aren't a band that can be squeezed into a 30 minute opening set, especially opening for a band with significantly less talent and with a majority fan base that just wouldn't appreciate modest mouse. and when they are almost capable of doing a huge tour like this themselves.

i completely agree with modest mouse, but muse? I fucking hate muse. So if it went Muse, JEW, Modest Mouse (because you know blink will be headliner) then Blink i would not be a sad kid

It's not going to be all four bands at once, I'd guess they have modest mouse doing one leg of opening and muse doing the other. On the Pop Disaster Tour, STD had plenty of time to play a long set before Green Day and Blink.

Modest Mouse has headlined two tours and a festival since their newest album. And its not just Bright Eyes, its Modest Mouse, Bright Eyes AND Rilo Kiley. Sick huh?
