Hey guys, I don't know if many of you are planning on going to Warped Tour this year, but if you do go, can you just let me know who is playing on different stages? The bands I really want to see are:

Simple Plan (I know, I know...)
Taking Back Sunday
Alkaline Trio
Allister
Bad Religion
Coheed and Cambria
Flogging Molly
Mae
Matchbook Romance
Motion City Soundtrack
My Chemical Romance
Rise Against
Senses Fail
Story of the Year
Sugarcult
The Beautiful Mistake (but if I'm not mistaken, they broke up so their tours are all cancelled)
The Early November
Thursday
Yellowcard

Yeah, my best friend and I want to see all these bands, and obviously we won't be able to see them all but if you could kind of tell me (if you remember) what bands are playing on what stages, then maybe we can get an idea of who we're going to be able to see. I'm guessing Simple Plan will be mainstaging it, and I'm guessing that alot of the other bands will be on different small stages, but I'm hoping that they all aren't playing at the same time! I don't even think Warped Tour has started yet so this kind of applies once it does start. Thanks for your help...I'm anal retentive and I need to plan things out!

So I'm a dumbass and I just checked the Warped Tour website and it has all the info I was asking before listed on it. What can you say...I'm a blonde :headshake Anyways, yeah, if you guys could then just let me know how the different bands sound and stuff like that, and particularily who kicks ass and who blows, so I know who to go see and who to avoid. Thanks!

There are so many good bands at Warped! I can't imagine seeing Bad Religion, Alkaline Trio, and Coheed in the same day.
This new band KillRadio is playing too and they're excellent. here's a song if you wanna check it:

Most of those bands you mentioned are probably playing on one of the two main stages, which are right next to each other so finding those won't be a problem. You can't go wrong with seeing New Found Glory or Yellowcard. I feel that Taking Back Sunday puts on an excellent show. Adam sings all the words now. Get there when the gates open (12pm), because odds are one of the bands you want to see will be playing early. Fight the temptation to leave because you don't feel like waiting. Find a spot in the shade and relax until someone you like comes on.

Warped Tour came to my town (literally) on Wednesday. It was awesome except the prices for food were bad. I thought all the bands I saw were really good except New Found Glory. I really liked The Vandals, Guttermouth, The Early November, Thursday and Taking Back Sunday.
Oh yeah and feel sorry for me. Warped was at a Spring Training ball park and I live in Arizona and its summer so it was around 110 out there.

Warped came to Vancouver yesterday. What a wicked show.
Notable events:
The Vandals talked more then they played.. Some of it was amusing, most of it was retarded. The only truly funny thing I heard was "If you don't raise your hands, the terrorists win."

Taking Back Sunday put on a great show, including a dividing the crowd and telling us to act out Braveheart. Thursday were also incredible.

Other notables include The Early November who put on a great show and then went directly to their merch booth and hung out. Tucker (I believe that's his name, the drummer anyway) from Thursday also spent most of the day in their merch booth.

I met Eddie from TBS, which was cool because they're my favourite band.
Monty's Fan Club are masters of self promotion, despite only having maybe 15 people watching them at the Ernie Ball stage.

Thats all I can think of right now, but it was an excellent show. Bravo to all the bands...

I was also at Vancouver Warped the other day. What an amazing show. I was amazed by Story Of The Year's performance. They had so much energy. Taking Back Sunday was wicked as well. My friend Jeff and I got seperated and he went and hung out with Eddie, Fred and Adam from TBS. He gave them my band's demo so hopefully they listen!
Nofx, Thursday, Bad Religion, The Early November, Flogging Molly, Rise Against, Yellowcard and Coheen And Cambria were all amazing as well.

A couple bands that were on smaller stages such as Crowned King and Kiros were also amazing.

I didn't bother watching New Found Glory but from what I heard, not many people enjoyed their performance. I also heard that Senses Fail weren't that great either. But I didn't see them so don't quote me on that.

All in all, it was a great day and I look forward to going back next year.

I went to the Calgary show on Thursday. It was amazing, every band I watched was awesome.

This city has the stupidest weather ever though. All day long it was gorgeous out, hot and sunny... then at 8 it started raining, and the last two bands [Yellowcard and Taking Back Sunday, the two I came to see most, go figure] had to cut their sets short cuz there was a tornado warning. Ahh well.

I went to Warped Tour in Calgary, Canada. One of the first bands I watched was SOTY. Who really impressed me with their energy, stage presence. The lead singer couldn't have come off more as a down to earth guy than he did... and most everyone heard about the lead singer from Coheed and Cambria making an ass out of himself. Fortuantely I never got to see it but I think it would of been humorous atleast. I missed a lot of performances trying to get around but by far the best for me was Rise Against. One of the last bands to go on and they completely tore it up. They may not have had the biggest crowd but everyone that was listening seemed to be amazed. I definately recommend you see them live.
