Ya gotta give me more info. What systems do you have and what type of fps experience are you looking for. I'll suggest:

Xbox:
Chronicles of Riddick = ignore the fact than vin diesel is in it. This is one of the greatest games i've ever played. It does not have multiplayer though and is only about 10 hours long. Still, its an unbelievable ride and one of best looking games ever made.

Rainbow Six 3 = great game. On xbox live, it has near unlimited gameplay with deathmatches and co-operative terrorist hunts.


PC:
Far Cry = best fps single player fps game since half life. Graphics are unbelievable. Levels are huge. HAs some of the smartest AI ever made. However, multiplayer is mediocre at best and you need high hardware specs to play this game.

Battlefield Vietnam = only good for multiplayer. But imagine 40 player matches online involving snipers, helicopters, tanks, jeeps, mines, jets, etc.

Unreal Tournament 2004 = only good or multiplayer. Lotsa fun but has some bugs.

Call of Duty = one of the greatest WWII games ever amde

Gamecube:
Metroid Prime is the only real fps game on the system

PS2:
um...i don't know. The ones on it kinda suck. Killzone looks cool coming later this year.

FPS to look out for coming in fall 2004 or in 2005:
Doom 3 = xbox & PC
halo 2 = xbox
Half-life 2 = xbox & pc
F.E.A.R. = pc
Call of Duty = Expansion pack for the pc, new adaptation for ps2 and xbox
Far Cry: insticts = new adaptation of pc version for xbox and ps2 and gcn (will not be as good though)
Star Wars Republic Commando = Xbox & PC
Timesplitters 3 = all systems i think
Killzone = ps2

If you have a good PC, i'd check out the new tribes game coming out. If you're into multiplayer, its the most team-based game out there.
