i think the fact that he's a prick and not some sissy emo nice guy like you'd expect is what makes their live shows so great

i'll never forget the first time i saw them...swing swing had just started getting play on mtv, and all these little girls and their mothers were there...and tyson hits the stage cursing up a storm because a piece of equipment was busted and then started telling everyone how drunk he was...all before they had even played a note. the shocked looks on those little girls' and their parents' faces was absolutely priceless.

yeah man. I know exactly what you're talking about. FIrst time I saw them was just before they hit mtv, with Home Grown so there weren't those kids and their parents there but it was an awesome show. The second time, though was after and there were so many kids and parents tehre. One dad pulled his daughter out of the pit because it was too rough.. that was pretty funny. (and also, some girl gave some guy a hand job in the pit then too.. about two feet away from me..) But anyway, to get back on topic, their shows were fun.

oh, and I would think you'd be one of the last people to look forward to their album coming out..

I really liked their last album a lot and I am really looking forward to their new one coming out. The Last Song is still one of my favorite songs. The All-American Rejects rock and hopefully their new CD will be just as good as their old one.

If you see them as what they are, a pop band, they are just a good fun group of guys. They have talent, some rocking guitars in some songs, and the guy can sing. I might not like them had I never received free tickets to that first show and found them to be suprisingly entertaining.

Last time I saw them, for the encore, they came out with lawn chairs, a cooler full of budweiser cans and played acoustic and slammed beers between songs...in front of a club full of mostly little kids. It was awesome.

haha yeah like the concert they played here (stillwater) they invited everybody up on stage during the last song and like there were tons of little kids there and like too many people were getting on stage and staying there so tyson started rapping like "get off the stage, the mothefuckin stage.." and so on it was funny all the parents were getting mad. but the new song i heard sounds alot like the cure..it was good.....and the money from the show they played all went to the stillwater highschool which was pretty nice considering like around 200 people were there and tickets were 20$
