i'm going on august 23rd (or whatever the toronto date is). too bad jack's wont be there. it's only phantom planet and the paper route so far.

for the most part, the fans have been pretty cool at the shows i've seen, but some of em can get massively bitchy and pushy, like i've never really seen anywhere else. at the last show i was at, girls were screaming at each other in the merch line and shoving each other around to get a better spot in line just to buy a t-shirt. there were also a couple of girls at the back of the crowd, trying to start shit with other fans, talking through the show, not cheering/applauding and then leaving about 40 minutes in. no big deal, except for the fact that they were wearing at least a hundred bucks worth of just-bought paramore merch apiece, nevermind the 30 dollar ticket, and didn't even bother with the show. it was a new experience for me, seeing such bullshit go on. good for paramore, though. at least they made some money off the twats.

Yeah, and when you mentioned it here, I went to his myspace and I was so shocked to see that the date was there, but now I'm not even sure anymore. They also have the Montreal date up on his myspace, and it wasn't there before either ...

I was in the meet and greet for the RIOT! tour's show in Nashville last year, and a group of us asked Hayley to even think about playing All We Know and Franklin that night (because it was the hometown show) and she said that they couldn't change anything because of the whole light/projector show, which depresses me. :(

However, I am really liking the set a bit more, mainly because it turns out that they're playing Emergency with the piano intro that they used back in '06, along with the extended ending (the one with the whoas) for the acoustic version of My Heart. The only thing that would make it perfectly acceptable for me would be adding Miracle.

Somehow both of those bands have left Straylight in the dust, popularity-wise. O, well.

I think they should switch out Fences for Miracle. I really fucking want to hear the thing they play after/before? Miracle live :/ And I love Fences, but it's just my least favorite song off of RIOT! and Miracle is like my favorite. Almost.

AND MY HEART WITH THE WHOAS. MAKES ME SO HAPPY. Even though it's acoustic, Idk. I think it sounds beautiful, and its probably amazing live.

they we're fantastic. i don't know paper route's songs, but they we're very good. will def check them out. other sets we're the same. jack's was fantastic as usual, as was paramore. both put on extremely energetic performances. overall, amazing show.

About Jack's Mannequin playing something corporate songs, they definitely do...you just have to see them do their own headlining shows, they usually dont when they only play 8-10 songs. ive seen them 6 times and ive seen them perform: Me And The Moon, 21 And Invincible, She Paints Me Blue, and Punk Rock Princess. Maybe like 1 other, i forget.
Who knows what they will bust out once they have the new jacks cd to play though and they have a lot more material.
I've also seen them cover Tom Petty's American Girl, Weezer's My Name Is Jonas, Simon And Garfunkel's Homeward Bound, and that oldies song Dream A Little Dream.

AMAZING.

their performance was everything i expected from andrew, me and my friend got reallyy close up because people helped us move up cause i'm less than 5' tall and couldn't see, anddddd the set list was amazing.

i left for paramore because i don't care for them, and went to his tour bus and MET HIM. he was so down to earth and it was amazing to finally meet the guy whose songs have put me to bed for the past 6 months. i got a picture and two autographs and he was so nice about everything. amazing experience.

glad you decided to go down. it really was a perfect night. all the bells and whistles around Paramore's set turned me off hardcore, but i still enjoyed their set (this being my 2nd time seeing them).

Very good show last night. Only complaint was that the venue made everyone who got in before the first band sit on the floor. looked like a sweet ol' hippie campfire until there was a massive surge forward as people were getting up. I don't think everyone expected it to happen so fast. i saw a couple of people get trampled over for not getting up right away. nice job keepin everyone safe, kool haus.

I think they did Always On My Mind and Dropped, but don't quote me...

Jack's threw in some "with or without you" during MFEO and had the audience sing along, and I remember a bit of a Police song being thrown in somewhere.

Hayley did the O Father thing lying on the ground before LTFB, and threw in the chorus from Flo Rida's "Low" during the "rock and roll baby" part of crushcrushcrush. the hallelujah cover and the ATDI cover were there, too. the rest of the set was nothing i haven't seen before, but they sounded fantastic and Hayley can work their crowd and sing her ass off, no question.

I went for Jack's Mannequin, but everyone else was good too. The only thing that made it uncomfortable was all the shoving to get to the front. It didn't even get anyone anywhere it was just obnoxious. Some of those Paramore for fans are not friendly at all. =[
