Fred Mascherino of Taking Back Sunday (http://www.takingbacksunday.com) was at the Straylight Run (http://www.straylightrun.com) show last night in Lancaster, PA. He was even spotted hanging out with John Nolan. Discuss.

They're big boys. I'm sure they've learned to play nice, especially since any problems there might have been weren't between these two.

This would be worth mentioning (kinda) if this was any other member of TBS but Fred and Will of SR were in Breaking Pangaea together so I'm sure he was just hanging with his bud.

yeah, it's kind of interesting, but what's the point of the post? i mean it's their lives and they are probably friends. who knows what all went on with tbs and john splitting. nobody knows for sure except those guys.

HAHAHAHAHA. That would rule all. Can you imagine what it would be like backstage? Maybe Straylight should open (I'm not saying they are worse, they are simply the smaller band in terms of sales and fans, so thats how it would have to work) and Brand New and TBS should co-headline. Fuck that would be cool.
Maybe throw in all the ex-members of TBS and BN as well, Brandon Reiley (Brand New, Movielife, Nightmare of You), Antonio Longo (TBS, Prizefighter, The Mirror), Brian Diaz (TBS, Reunion Show, BN's guitar tech), ect.
Jason Tate was seen in a back dressing room at said show, performing oral maneuvers on an male wearing tight blue jeans, a black "Smiths" t-shirt, 2 wrist bands, and a studded belt. The male remains unidentified because his chin length black hair concealed his face.

everyone is up for a tbs fight. we only fight about the good bands. remember that. no one fights over bands that suck unless they are pop. and people fight over pop bands.....just because they are pop. people fight over taking back sunday because they are good :).

This actually is a worthy news post. For the people who still want to say there is a "rivalry" there really isn't. I would not be suprised if they toured together in the fal.

Someone is finally catching on.
The point of the post was to show that people want to still perceive there is some sort of bitter rivalry. Some people want to say "But shouldn't they hate each other?" I just also like posting anything about TBS (especially if BN or SLR is mentioned in the same thread) because it's always fun to see the replies flow in. It's guaranteed a TBS post (with some exceptions) will get 25 replies or more. It was also just one of our classic POINTLESS gossip posts (See: Jesse Lacey saw "Mean Girls" this past weekend).

I find it hilarious that all Jared had to do was post a comment about two people talking (fred and John) to get over 20 reponses. Is it really that big of a deal that 2 grown men speak to each other? I applaud you Jared for such a tactical move, please continue these for no other reason than to humor us.

um i going to go ahead and disagree with you there. i don't think any of these posts said anything to support this mythical rivalry. in fact most posts were trying to diffuse any such notion, and most were criticizing what seemed to be your attempt to stir up the controversy. so you may have been trying to be ironic, i just dont think it worked out that way. but hey i like to read all the tbs posts, pointless or not.

You missed the point too. The whole point of the post was this: I posted it to see how many of you would respond. We're up to how many responses? How many views? It just shows no matter what a TBS post will be the most replied to and viewed thread of any of the news. I was just posting it 'cause it's stupid. I didn't want anyone to care. I don't care Fred was at a SLR show and talked to John. I just posted it 'cause it was submitted and I wanted to see how many of you would respond. I wanted to remind myself how funny it is that anything related to this band can 'cause such a stir. It has NOTHING to do w/ them touring. I have no clue if that is or isn't happening.
