rancid or offspring? both playing same night, what do i do?

so saturday night is this big radio show in denver with spill canvas, dropping daylight, flobots, dropkick murpheys, paramore and the offspring. the same night rancid is playing in denver.

i've been trying to decide if i should leave after paramore and go see rancid, or if i should stay and watch the offspring. i have tickets to both shows and the tickets i have for the offspring are 4th row. 2 of the guys i'm going with wont even consider leaving before the offspring because thats pretty much there favorite band. but the other guy going is way into rancid and would go see them with me.

i havent seen either band, and i like both of them equally. im not a hardcore fan of either band, but i AM a fan. i wont know every song by either of them but i'll know most of them. you know what i mean?

Rancid put on a better show, but then again, The Spill Canvas and Dropkick Murphys are great live. I've seen all four bands, so personally, I would catch TSC, Dropkick, and Offspring, then go see Rancid (if you have time). Definitely skip out on Paramore ;-)

My advice would hang out at the Big Radio Show. You can always see Rancid again but DKM's,Spill Canvas and Offspring is a killer lineup

I would say the radio show. It's way more bands, and rancid will be back. The offspring and paramore will most likely not play shows set in a small place again

if you can leave after dropkick murphys and make rancid, thats the choice. rancid is so much more consistant than the offspring. while the offspring have tappered off as their career has gone, rancid kick your ass live. plus. matt freeman. game over.

yeah, ill have other people i know at rancid so i think im gonna have one of em tell me when mxpx is half done and i'll just hurry over to ranid. if i can catch some offspring that would be sweet. they'll probably have a winter tour if not a fall one

You never said mxpx is playing. If thats the case then go to the rancid show.

murphys always put on a great show, and i like the offspring, but i've never seen rancid live, so i can't really answer

Both were good when I saw them... but I can almost guarantee that when Rancid comes back they'll play the exact same setlist that they're playing on this tour, because they haven't really changed their setlist since 1996.

I'd stay and watch the Offspring.
Dropping Daylight is amazing live btw.
