i'm glad to hear it. although i really enjoyed 'control', it took a little time to sink in. i really want to get the older records too. 'priests and paramedics' is of the gloomiest, most miserable & somber yet brilliant songs i've ever heard. when you listen to pedro the lion everything goes in slow motion and you kind of detach from the world as it happens around you. i love that feeling.

You are awesome, and what you just said is awesome.
I couldn't agree with you anymore. The whole slow motion thing is exactly what I like about the music they put out.

Wow, exactly. I agree with you completely.

pedro is amazing and david bazan is also a really nice guy. i'm seeing him/them for the second time this year at the end of next month.
the only reason i feel secure is because i am validated by my pedro the lion.

hey thanks. i love listening to pedro when i am walking around town on a really busy weekend. thats when the slow motion is the best. all these people and crowds walking around and you just kind of drift through them, spectating but not participating. 'second best' is a killer song too.

"Achilles Heel" is the best album so far this year.

Yeah, they are really original. They rock.
You guys should check out Portishead, that stuff is amazing to. It's really different I'm sure from what a lot of you listen to. But that is what I would call detachment music as well.
Oh and Age Of Ruin, they fucking rock.
