Don't get me wrong: I love their music, but their new stuff is overrated and overplayed. Their old CDs and EPs are so much better than Ocean Avenue. Anyone agree with me or am I alone where I stand?

i like all yellowcard new and old. but i agree i dislike the new cd more now than i used to because i find myself meeting people that didnt give a damn and had never heard of yellowcard until this cd and now they act like theyve loved em for years. i get sick of that...

i recently aquired yellowcards 'where we stand' and while its definately nothing like the rest...its extremely good and i almost find myself liking it more...

Ocean Avenue .. I rarely listen to it. But when I saw Yellowcard perform acoustically the songs sounded great.

As you can see .. i'm a sucker for anything acoustic. ;) haha

Their new CD is good but I keep seeing 12 year old "punks" in trucker hats buying it and acting badass, so that kind of pisses me off. I love "One for the Kids" just because "Sureshot" is one of my favorite Yellowcard songs ever (after "Only One"). The Underdog EP is great too. I love "Powder". But I love all Yellowcard. Electric violin? That's good shit in my book.

To me, Yellowcard's new album has a lot of filler on it. I think One For The Kids and Underdog would have been great albums if it weren't for the terrible recordings.

Seriously though, Ocean Ave has those few good "singles" and the rest is mediocre at best. Thats my opinion anyways.

Well usually in magazines [I think this issue of AP...or Outburn] they address "fashionxcore" and how eighteen visions is like that. I guess it means they put more time into looking pretty than most guys in their genre do. I can see where you think they are asses. They are whiteboys from the OC so they do practically have it made. I have never bought a yellowcard album and I don't think I ever will, not the new one anyway. 'Way Away' got on my nerves, they do seem like a gimmick band. ETID and the Bled are great, I agree with the posters above me! Have you guys heard the new Killswitch Engage? Also great.
