Sorry these are late. I wasn't even going to do recommendations this week because I am late, but I really feel the need to.

Limbeck (http://www.limbeck.net/) - Alright so I'll be the first to admit, I never really ever gave Limbeck the chance. I've seen them more times than I can count in the past couple years, but I never got into them. And last night, I broke the barrier and let the Limbeck love into my heart. I saw them with Motion City and Hellogoodbye, put 100% of my attention into their performance, and I loved it. They have such a happy, laid back presence, and put everyone in the best mood. I don't know why I never saw it before.

The Format (http://www.theformat.com/) - Yet another band I never gave the chance. Who knows why...I mean, every single person I ever talked to only had the best things to say about this band. And I knew if i started listening to them, I'd love it. So my friend sat me down in her car and had me listen to their EP, and I'm in love. The time finally came. Yes!

Gatsby's American Dream (http://gatsbysamericandream.com) - Because...hello! their new album is freaking kick-ass rock n roll. And they started their tour yesterday, so I highly advise anyone on the west coast that hasn't seen these boys to come see what all the hype is about. they. are. amazing. If you come to one of the Southern California shows, I'll bring cookies for you or something.

i went to the GAD EP release show on sat. night here in seattle, it was awesome...they TEAR it up live...nic has amazing stage presence

i was at that show!

limbeck was amazzzinnggggg..

hellogoodbye's sound was sort of off. but fun regardless.

motion city was good, but i didn't see the whole thing.

maxeen are fucking TERRIBLE. oh man.

but i agree with you about Limbeck! awesome underrated band.

You can thank Bob Hoag for that EP. He wrote the entire thing, and they didn't give him credit. Pretty tight.

That's exactly what I think. But hopefully they'll be signed before we know it. They freaking deserve it. They're amazing.
