unwanted thread subscriptions?

Just a quick question. Every time I post in a thread, I'm automatically subscribed to that thread. Is there anyway I can change this? Thanks.

yea I can't stand getting 5 emails at once letting me know there is an update to a thread I was "subscribed"

I'd prefer not to receive them if possible

Under edit options there's a place to select no email notification.

You can rid of email notifications in your options (http://www.absolutepunk.net/profile.php?do=editoptions).

i see where you can get rid of e-mail notifications, but i can't see where you can stop the automatic subscriptions. anyone know?

I don't think you can stop 'em. You can just delete them as you go. That's what I do.

Yeah, you can't stop the automatic subscription -- it's to let you know what threads you've posted in. You can delete those you don't want to ... and you can change your subscription email options in the options page Tristan linked.
