Do you know any good things to do in downtown DC on an overcast/rainy afternoon? I think we're going to go to a museum or two, but I don't know if there is anything else to do.

yeah they're isn't too much to do if you want to stay inside besides the museums. I recommend the aquarium.

I have a friend who lives near boston.
that is sweet. I haven't been in many many years. I remember the huge tank with the manta ray in it that was always cool.
well I hope you get to go. B-more has the maryland science center and the inner harbor.
