It has just been confirmed that Saosin (http://www.saosin.com) will be performing on 5 west coast dates on the Smartpunk stage as part of this year's Warped Tour. Markets will include San Diego, both Fullerton dates, Ventura and Las Vegas. Phil from Story Of The Year will be filling in on vocals and contributing to what will be one of the warped tour's most talked about performances of the year. by the way: you guys will be very very pleased with the new saosin stuff, the instrumentals rock (BIG TIME). The guitars are VERY techy and remind me a lot of CKY's, nothing more will be said though. :lipsrseal

even the guitar riffs??!! wow, thats crazy. Most people love CKY's guitar riffs. If u know the lead in the "seven years" chorus?(i consider that riff CKY sounding) thats a lot of what the new stuff has in it, riffs like that.

last time Name Taken were on the First Taste Tour they crashed at my house and Blake and I had a convo about Saosin. he said that the new stuff reminded him of Blindside.

Phil's voice is INCREDIBLE..i honestly think it's just as good as anthony greens. DO u really think saosin would go out of their way to pick up a guitar player from a major label band and beg warped tour executives to give them some warped dates back just for a vocalist who isn't incredible?..you'll see.

hmmmm, i really don't see that at all. I think the new stuff is pretty much the same as the old stuff (instrumental wwise), with just more of the typical "seven years" chorus kind of riffs. IM me if you want details :wink3:
