Radio Cure all the way

It's hauntingly desperate at the beginning but becomes beautifully uplifting near the end.

Tough choice between Ashes of American Flags and I'm the Man Who Loves You. The latter's guitarwork is some of my favorite I've ever heard, but the former is a better overall track

Nels Cline's guitar solo on "Ashes of American Flags" live is absolutely breathtaking (you should check it out on Kicking Television)
