I got to talk to Claudio from Coheed and Cambria at the PreWarped tour party in houston and here is the news I got:

Then next single will be blood red summer, the entire next album has been written and they will begin recording in the winter, the cd will be the first part of a multi cd conclusion to the story. the comic book should be available when coheed hits the west coast, and can be picked up at thier shows and online.

he just said it will be available on the west coast, so i would assume he meant warped tour, i didnt want to include that in the message though cause im not 100%, im going to SA tommorrow, and Houston on monday so if i see him or any of the other band members ill ask them.

"Blood Red Summer" is a sweet song! I think it's a perfect choice for the next single, although "The Crowing" would have been good too. "Blood Red Summer" is probably really hard to pull off live though, since what makes it awesome is all of the vocals and the choir that I believe is in the song. I think I remember reading that in the credits of their cd. Word.
