There's no thread about this movie here yet?! You all suck. :angryfire

Anyway.. saw this when it came out, on Friday, and well I absolutely loved it. Best friggin movie ever. Too beautiful for words. Ryan & Rachel were amazing in the movie. Them being born here in London Ontario, makes them even more awesome than they already are :D

But anyway, has anyone seen it?

I wanted to see it, but I was with my guy friends and guys don't like "chick flicks", so I was forced to see Dodgeball again...which is a great movie...but I'd rather see the Notebook anyday..it looks soooo cute.

I saw it a few nights ago.. I was so close to crying! It was great but I've been depressed since I saw it!
Do they make movies with love like that because it can happen.. or because it can't?

WTF are you smoking on? White Chicks was so bad it's not even funny. The first fifteen minutes of the movie are hilarious. Once they changed into the girls it went all downhill....

man, i see it differently.

The first 15 minutes were horrible, i almost walked out. good thing i stayed though, because as the movie went on, it got funnier and funnier.

And correction - white chicks was so bad, it IS funny*

in my opinion anyway

Well I guess but man how did you past the fact that they look nothing like the girls or look like girls at all....yet you're suppose to believe that every character in the movie can't tell the difference...

yea in the previews i think they look scary as girls.. especially their eyes...

I saw it and it was one of the best I've seen all year. Def. not a chick flick. I shed a tear or two.

lol, i know..i know. its impossible not to tell. but still, just the run-of-the-mill crude humor jokes in the movie still make me laugh

I really wanna see it, I'm single right now so I think it would be like an excellent icebreaker type movie to take a girl to. Plus like I said, I wanna see it, call me a little emo bitch but I love movies that make me cry.

I saw it, it was good I enjoyed it. Nothing spectacular, typical love story, very predictable. But then again it would have been an injustice if it hadn't ended the way it did.

But all the predictableness was more than made up for by Ryan Gosling's smokin ass bod. Holy shit!

And White Chicks looks sooo horrible, I would never ever pay to see that. And even if someone bought it when it comes out on DVD, you would still have to pay ME to see it. If anyone ever made me see it, I would first: cry, second: punch them in the face, third: demand that they compensate for the 2 hours of my life and the 15 IQ points I'll never get back.

Nicholas sparks is too sappy for my tastes. My GF and her friends and mom and sister etc love that stuff. I just can't stand it. Luckily I talked her out of seeing it with me and seeing it with her friends. I've actually read some good reviews on it, even from a man's perspective, but I just can't get myself to sit in there just like I'd never force my GF to see a testosterone filled movie like Riddick (not that i've seen it, just an example).

Still, I'm interested to see that movie before sunset and rent before sunrise. That looks like the kind of romantic movie i'd see. I like more realistic portrayals of romance I suppose.

i saw it with my aunt, cousin(girl), and grandma.. it was decent for a chick flick, i mean i didnt cry and i dont get how people could cry in this movie. the part with james garner and gena rowlands should have just been shut out of the movie, it was pointless, they made it a lot worse with that. the ending wasnt strong which made it not as good

i went into it thinking it would be sappy and not that good. although the plot wasnt that amazing, i have to admit i loved it. i came so close to crying a bunch of times. then at mthe end i was sooo close to tears just when there was this collective sob in the audience and it was so funny all sad thoughts were banished
