some of you or most of you, whatever, should already know the situation between www.FuckAbsolutePunk.net and AP.net... well just don't read too much into FAP.net because they have been holding out on some of the emails passed between them and Jason Tate because they are bias, and as a result Tate comes out to be the almighty bad guy out of this. But after reading AP.net's Terms Of Service and Copyright Policy [found at the bottom of the page] we can see that FAP.net's claim of fair use is declared null. So who really is the bad guy? FAP.net's usage of AP.net's bandwith is illegal and costing AP money so it becomes a matter of protecting resources and the thieves will eventually get what they deserve as they refuse to comply. Oh well.

This was just to inform people of the happenings of AP.net.

This whole FAP.net thing is getting annoying to be honest, I guess I'll do my best to address the issue here just for the sake of it. The point is if they were to do a few things, I wouldn't care so much it. It's actually sort of a feature I was working on with a variety of record labels already ... (and I told them this in an email they conviently left out of their website, obviously. Even though according to the DMCA, I'm pretty sure even their posting of any of my email transactions with them is against the law, but I do like the photo manipulated images of me: I bet that version(s) of me could get laid.)

1) Actually include a link/banner to our website - and remove the libel pictures/remarks about me, and my person. It's the way it's presented, not the actual manner/material

2) Not utilize a method that uses up bandwidth I pay for, or offer to pay for the bandwidth they 'steal.' Hell, I can set up and RSS feed to syndicate the news, if anyone wants it - simply ask - I just want it set up the right way .. where as we are given the ability to control how our content is handled and we are not put in a bind as to where I have to find some way to pay for their stealing.

Think about it, if you went into a store, and photocopyed the latest Grisham book - went outside and started handing it out -- regardless of if you were giving it away for free, or if you were crediting the source - do you think you would last very long? It's a matter of respect, I am not Rockafeller [sic] and can't afford someone to go to such lengths as to cost me $, and to defame my name, my creation, my work ... either way, the way it is handled it is obvious they don't want to listen to me, or work with me - they simply don't care about anything besides making me angry. This is why I have an issue with this website, trust me - if you have questions about it, simply ask - I am more than willing to discuss this in a coherent and intellegent manner with anyone ... I just ask for the same respect ..

yes, which I also tried to point out, but they decided to ignore all of the rulings on this manner and plug their ears. Whatever, I gave them many options, and many warnings, I'll just let my lawyer deal with it .. it's cheaper in the long run than paying the bandwidth crap ..
