If Warped tour continues like this I expect a riot towards the end. The guys from Yellowcard played pretty early and had Cyrus from New Found Glory checking out the first half of their set. Mae played to a small crowd but was an awesome experience since they played to half of the Verizon Wireless Ampitheater. The most unexpecting thing I saw was the performance from Taking Back Sunday. I've seen them twice prior but could never call myself a number one fan. Their performance was the best I had ever seen. Adam had a few new mic tricks and he actually sang more than he twirled it. The energy from the band was amazing. The new songs sounded a lot better live, however, "The Union" was kind of dull. New Found Glory played around 6:00PM. When they stepped on stage the crowd's energy was finally put to the test. I have only been to 3 Warped Tours, but I had never seen such energy or pile of junk flying through the air. Wallets were thrown, somehow a bra was found later on, and hats and torn mags were of course thrown also. Through out the day you could find at least one band member from each band hanging out at either their booth or while watching another band perform.

a lot of tbs's new stuff is slower and duller but im glad they sound better live, this gives me another reason to go to warped this year.

I saw the same thing happen to NOFX 2 years ago and I'm betting it was sweeter. No offense to nfg but Nofx is 20 times better live.

tbs' performance at the houston show last night was amazing. at one point adam threw the mike so high that it went through one of the rafters and was just kinda hanging there for a while. he took advantage of it though. it was cool. i think the new songs were kinda duller because we don't know them yet. but maybe that's just me.

yea I was at the Houston show yesterday and thought Taking back sunday did a really good job. they were the last band to go on and they put a good end to the day. i also though My Chemical Romance played really well yesterday too.

Anytime you need to actually clarify that a singer in a band sang in a mic more than he swung it, you know there are problems...

TBS at the Dallas show was by far the worst I've ever seen them do. At least you guys got Adam when he was on key, cause he was waaaaaay off for most of the one I saw. And New Found Glory kept making these retarded comments about circle pits and telling these big guys to start shit in the middle, as if they think they are cockrock band or something now. Assholes.

Flogging Molly and Bad Religion, as usual when they are on the tour, owned the main stages.

yeah, i dont think tbs performed that great here in dallas like i saw them last time with blink 182, but letter kills definetly had the most entertaining show, that singer can swing mics way better then adam ever could. cant wait for their cd and the bad religion mosh pit was insane. <3 warped tour.

I would have liked to have seen some bands inside like letter kills and rise against, but it was just too much of a hassle to get back in there once out in the main stage area with just one small opening in the fence going back and forth.

i'm really anticipating to see letter kills performance, there new cd comes out in less then a month..along with taking back sundays. warped tour is so far away for me...aug 14th, i'm so excited though, so many bands..so little time. i'll probably be missing out on some bands i wanna see.

i liked their little input of "i'm going to be honest with you, atmosphere is playing at the maurice stage and if you know what's good for you you'll go over there." i thought that was pretty funny. and story of the year was funny too, doing the gloria estefan cover and all.

The Dallas show was pretty crappy not only because of the rain but because everyone was off. Most of the bands i saw i have seen before and it seemed like they just weren't into it.
Guttermouth had a very funny set. The singer made fun of all the other bands for wearing their black shirts and eyeliner. He said he was just there to take everyones money. $7.50 for a beer is a rip off.

hahahaha that's awesome...i wish i could have seen guttermouth. dave from flogging molly also took a few cracks at story of the year and taking back sunday and got the crowd worked up over it. it was awesome.

If you dont watch Letter Kills then you just missed the best band on warped tour. Most energy youll ever see put into a set. Youll like them trust me. Dont forget about A Faith Called Chaos too.

don't get me wrong, i'd like to check out letter kills if i go to the warped stop up here. it just wasn't convenient at all to get back and forth between the main and side stages in dallas due to the setup.

I agree Flogging Molly had one of the best sets. Their music makes me want to go buy one of those $7.50 beers.

YC stunk in SA they were better in houston, but the setlist was the same at both shows and sucked both times, they cut out october nights and closed with ocean avenue. only pre ocean avenue song they played was sureshot, once again no october nights, and no avondale. im never going to see big apple heartbreak live

I find it kind of funny that the ppl that talk the most crap about ANY band are the ones that don't fill out their profile with the bands they like. Hmmm.

That's Mark for you. He does that all the time. I've seen Guttermouth twice (three tommorrow). Warped Tour is tommorrow for me and it's gonna be pretty good. Not as good as last years but still.
