Will the demos be on the Cd?
The word on the street is that four out of the six demos will be on the album. The two that didn't make it were "A Slow Descent" and "It's Everybody's Fault But Mine," but that's all just hearsay and no one knows for sure (yet). We'll let you know as soon as we do.

Most bands do sound better rougher...I wouldn't hold my breath for it though. We can dream though.

i talked to them about it back in may, at the time they were finishing tracking but said that definitely some of the demos would be on there. im willing to bet that a slow descent and IEFBM are the two that didnt make the cut, although they are all really spectacular. im probably most anticipating to hear studio cuts of waiting for you and now that it's done.

Well, when I saw them a couple weeks ago they played every demo except the two mentioned, as well as Holding On (now that it's done), Waiting For You (Sunrise Highway), Dignity and Money, and a new song with a technoish beat, heavy bass, and michelle and john both taking lead vocal duties at different parts in the song. Slow Descent was played at the show before or after the one I attended though, so at least it isn't one hundred percent dead. I have a feeling that the untitled song from the jamisonparker tour is a goner, and even though I loved "everyone's fault but mine" I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't make the cut either.

Anyone else notice how every tour they further butcher Waiting For You (Sunrise Highway)? In the first useless division video it was over 7 minutes long, in the useless division video from the new ams tour it as a little over 5, and now it ends after John sings the chorus over clean guitar by himself. I'm disappointed by this, as the original had the awesome 'ba da da' ending.

Also, when everyone says the demos will be on the cd, will they at least be re-recorded? I have no problem with an 11 song cd and six of those being rerecorded versions of the demos, but it's lame if the old songs aren't redone.

sunrise highway / waiting for you should be on teh album as its an amazing song, my personal favorite of theirs and im fairly confident they will rerecord the demo songs for their album
the long version of sunrise highway is really great, they should end their cd with that

they will be rerecorded...for sure. I like the rougher sound though....but they definitely will re record them.

Hmm I'm trying to determine whether the song played in MA was the same same Toolsheds and Hottubs as in the live video. If it is the same song, then John's guitar part has changed completely. I think they are probably separate songs, although the drum beat and michelle vocals in this video sound similar to what I remember.
