A couple years ago, I would've said Tim by a long shot. But I'm getting really sick of his whole "I'm a bitter alcoholic poet who hates girls and religion" schtick. It's just getting old. Plus, Happy Hollow and Help Wanted Nights were both pretty blah.

Conor can be hit or miss, but his lyrics are better and more diverse, his voice has improved a lot, and he seems to have more staying power with me.

Both are amazing, but I think Conor's lyrics just take the cake. Cursive just tries too hard sometimes.

I think Conor is the better. Although the only thing I've heard from Tim is Happy Hollow and a few Good Life tracks and I wasn't too impressed. If the Cursive older stuff is better it's a possibility Tim could still be beat Conor.

Tim. He has three perfect records Happy Hollow, Ugly Organ, and Domestica. He also has way better lyrics than Conor. Cursive and Bright Eyes are two of my favs but Tim is more consistent.

Both talented dudes, but gotta go with Tim. Just prefer his style, I'm far more interested in listening to him. Happy Hollow and Album of the Year do most of the convincing for me.
