Just listened to the new album Ten Stones, I'd say it's a lot more accessible than some of his other albums, like Blush Music.
I can't recommend this guy enough, haha, he's becoming one of my favourite artists.

Great Band/Artist, kind of surprised to see Woven Hand on this site....but theres no accounting for taste. I bought the first album when it came out a few years ago....never really liked 16 Horsepower that much, Tho' I love the Dylan cover nobody cept you. When I heard the first woven Hand CD I absolutely loved Blue Pail fever and Glass Eye.
David Eugene Edwards is a hell of a songwriter.

David Eugene Edwards is an exceptional songwriter and one of the few to pen lyrics about Christian faith that aren't didactic nor one-dimensional indictments of it's own hypocrisy. He creates very vivid imagery and his lyrics are very economical, insofar as never having a wasted word or line.

Everyone who enjoys Woven Hand should also seek out his work with his former band 16 Horsepower, especially the stellar Folklore.

One of my favourite artists, David Eugene Edwards continues to work his way up to one of my favourite artists of all time, he is brilliant and deserves much more recognition than he gets.

I have been listening to this album so much lately, I'd say this is the best album David Eugene Edwards has done.

I strongly recommend investing your time/money into this album, it won't disappoint.

Listening to the new album. This is pretty different from the stuff I usually delve into, but I am loving the rhythmic feeling throughout the songs. Hopefully, I'll eventually understand the music enough to warrant repeated plays.

I just had to bump this thread. I just found out about them (don't know how I missed 'em) and bought their Ten Stones album on a whim after hearing the samples on Amazon. I like how he sounds and look forward to delving into his discography. I may just pick up The Threshingfloor too so my 2010 list can truly be complete.
