They're back and better than ever. With their new cd coming out July 27th, Taking Back Sunday has really shown what talented entertainers they are. Every song on their first cd released on Victory Records, "Tell All Your Friends", was full of lyrics that sliced into your soul. They make you think about your relationships with other people and how sometimes no matter how much you love someone else they won't always love you back. Their sophomore effort, "Where You Want To Be", should be one of the best albums out in this weird time in music. Go here to hear their first single, "A Decade Under The Influence, off the new album.

believe me... i love taking back sunday as much as the next guy... no one can deny that 'tell all your friends' is one of the greatest albums of its time... but i am very skeptical about the new album... how will taking back sunday respond because their fans have such high expectations? and they have new members.... which isn't really bad or good... yet... its just not very promising... i'm not trying to be prejudgemental... thats why i am not going to say another damn word about taking back sunday until i hear the new album in its entireity... i think spelled that last word wrong... 'entireity'

the new album is a great album and a good listen all the way through but its not as good as TAYF. Then again, not many albums are...

Thats kinda shitty eh? who would want to listen to that?

ps; this isnt a weird time in music... this is some of the best time in music, I guess you probably listen to crap.

as i stated somewhere else the new album really isnt that good, i actually cant stand it at the moment, maybe it will grow on me but i doubt it. im not one of those anti tbs people, i really liked TAYF but this new album really does suck

I dont care how hard they try...TBS wont make a better album then TAYF...but WYWTB will still be amazing.

taking back sunday is alright, but they are like everybody else it seems. i think that they have some pretty good lyrics but john nolan left and is in straylight run now and they are much better. john nolan made taking back sunday soo much better and i doubt the new members can replace him... so i think that you all should listen to straylight run rather than taking back sunday

in agreement with most everyone here... TAYF was an extraordinary album, and I don't think there's a chance WYWTB can live up to it, especially with John Nolan gone to Straylight Run. I'll still be buying it though.

I think TAYF was amazing, and the new album (I haven't heard it yet) is gonna have a tough job living up to it. It may be great, but it's gonna get stick for not being a carbon copy of TAYF.
