it really sucks to be the band...because cove's still not the permanent singer (they have to see how he does with lyrics and melodies, and his stage presence), and everyone's making it out to look like he is - imagine they decide he's not as good as they thought and want to look for someone else?

yeh saw him play one song with them at warped, he really doesnt do justice. The guy from story of the year was a better singer, but i think they are going to have a hard time trying to find a new singer

Anyways, I believe he's from San Diego. I heard some of the tracks without vocals for the upcoming cd and man, I seriously cannot wait 'til they do the vocals and release it. Good Stuff...

this guy can definently sing but i don't think he sings it as good as anthony could have done this song. anthonys was just a demo , this one sounds complete, id have to heard him sing music he wrote. and why would they still be trying people out if this guy was there singer now, hes not permanent yet.

I wouldn't call it perfect pitch or an awesome live voice. He doesn't hit some of the notes on the i can tell demo and he wasn't all that great at warped tour. People keep making excuses for him saying that he was nervous, but at the same time, even if he was great, would anybody honestly like him better than Anthony? It seems to me like trying to find a singer that sounds like Anthony is a bad move because he'll never be as good as the original. What they should do is find someone who has a great voice and is talented, but sounds nothing like Anthony.

than the band wouldnt have open there mouth's knowing word spreads quick. The kid sang with them at Warped, in front of hundreds of people, they should expect people to somehow find out his name.

Adam and the rest of TBS arent orginal... Although i love their music I don't like people creditting them with everything.

I think he was amazing on the 'I can tell...' demo and he was good live. Anthony had a good presense live but even he didn't live up to his studio voice. I don't this kid should have to either. Cove had a lot of good energy and good presense. No one can be Anthony except Anthony so just get over comparing Anthony and who ever they pick. Cove seems like an awesome kid and good luck to him and Saosin whatever their choices are.
The highlights of Saosin/SOTY related things at warped was to hear Phil w/ Saosin live two straight days, see Beau play w/ SOTY, and much respect out to Phil for doing 2 sets (3 on Friday due to mr. broken leg).
