Alexisonfire

Anyone else listened to the new Alexisonfire? I'm not sure what to think of it yet. I loved the first album, but this one seems....just....softer? Or maybe mellower or something. Meh...maybe it's just me.

I bought it the day it came out, listened to it once, and then somehow managed to lose it without taking it out of my room. It's been about a month and it's still nowhere to be seen.

I remember liking it though...

ive heard a few songs and it is decent. not my favorite band or type of music but its okay

Yeah apparently a pornstar. Was funny at first, but after saying "alexis on fire, the band, not the pornstar" about 500 times, it gets a little annoying. Personally i always thought "Alex is on fire" was a better name.

that would get annoying... I've never had to say that though [guess I just don't mention them a lot].

But good news, I found the CD last night while cleaning my room!

The new album definitely has to grow on you. Especially the mellower parts with dallas singing. Although, when i first heard "Accidents" i thought it was awesome. So i guess its just the slower parts that threw me off. Regardless, its a great cd, just not as good as the Self-Titled.

I love the new cd. Im not really sure if its better than the first or not. But its still awsome. I got it the day after it came out and i got the limited edition one. Well not realyl but it says promotional copy on it and stuff. Anyways i never noticed how insanely amazing Dallas is.

I also have a theory does anyone else think that maybe the band didnt plan to be like a hardcore band. I think that Dallas and all the guys started a band. And they were friends with George (who had no musical talent what so ever) and he said "Hey guys can i be in your band". They said "umm sure what do you play". And he didnt play anything so he just screamed his ass off. Do think thats possible?
